Refund & Cancellation Policy 

At Cognitive Care, we are committed to providing high-quality healthcare services with integrity and transparency. As a trust-based organization, we strive to ensure that every contribution, service booking, or payment made towards our initiatives is utilized effectively to serve our mission. 

This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which cancellations and refunds are processed for our services, programs, and contributions.

1. General Policy on Cancellations & Refunds 

Due to the nature of our work in healthcare and community well-being, all payments made to Cognitive Care are considered final and non-refundable, except under exceptional circumstances as outlined in this policy.

2. Cancellation Policy 

A. Appointment Cancellations 

  • Patient-Initiated Cancellations: If you need to cancel a medical consultation, health check-up, or appointment, you must do so at least 24 hours in advance to allow us to accommodate other patients. 
  • Late Cancellations or No-Shows: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment or failure to show up will not be eligible for a refund. 
  • Rescheduling: Patients may request one free reschedule of their appointment, subject to availability. 

B. Service Subscription Cancellations 

  • If you have subscribed to a membership, wellness program, or ongoing service, cancellation requests must be made before the next billing cycle to avoid further charges. 
  • No partial refunds will be provided for unused portions of the service. 

C. Event & Workshop Cancellations 

  • If you have registered for an event, workshop, or training session, you may cancel your participation up to 48 hours in advance to be eligible for a partial refund (subject to deductions for administrative costs). 
  • No refunds will be processed for cancellations made within 48 hours of the event date. 

D. Donation Cancellations 

  • Donations made to Cognitive Care are non-refundable, as they are immediately allocated to supporting healthcare initiatives and community programs. 
  • If a donation was made in error or an incorrect amount was charged, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction for review.

3. Refund Policy 

A. Eligible Refunds 

Refunds will only be processed under the following circumstances: 

  • Duplicate Payment: If a payment has been made multiple times due to a technical error, the excess amount will be refunded. 
  • Service Unavailability: If Cognitive Care is unable to provide a booked service due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued. 
  • Incorrect Billing: If an overcharge or incorrect amount was deducted from your account, the discrepancy will be corrected. 

B. Refund Process 

  • Refund requests must be submitted via email to [Insert Contact Email] with relevant payment details. 
  • Once approved, refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days and credited via the original payment method. 

C. Non-Refundable Transactions 

  • Donations and contributions (unless there is an error in processing). 
  • Partially used service packages or subscriptions. 
  • Cancellations made after the refund eligibility period.

4. Modifications to This Policy 

Cognitive Care reserves the right to modify or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be reflected on our Website, and continued use of our services will constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
